From June 1 to 6, 2026, INTERSCHUTZ 2026 — the world’s largest and most influential flagship event for the fire protection industry — concluded successfully at the Hannover Exhibition Center in Germany. This edition brought together 1,777 exhibitors from 55 countries and regions, with a net exhibition area of 120,210 square meters spanning nine exhibition halls and multiple outdoor display zones. As a leading Chinese personal protective equipment (PPE) brand, U.PROTEC made its debut at Booth J17, Hall 14, showcasing its smart protective equipment and innovative technology solutions. The presentation drew strong attention from global professional visitors and industry experts, marking a standout "Chinese chapter" at this year’s INTERSCHUTZ.

Held every five years, INTERSCHUTZ is widely recognized as the bellwether of the global fire protection industry. This year’s event has evolved from a traditional fire safety exhibition into "the world’s leading industry platform focused on safeguarding personnel safety across all crisis scenarios." Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Managing Board of Deutsche Messe AG, noted, "Exhibitors are increasingly positioning themselves as comprehensive solution providers to respond to an ever-changing world."
U.PROTEC stands as a strong practitioner of this trend. Throughout the exhibition, Booth J17 in Hall 14 drew consistent high foot traffic, attracting professional buyers, fire service officials and industry media from Australia, the United States, Europe, the Middle East and other regions for in-depth discussions. Mr. Hendrik Rawe, Global Project Director of INTERSCHUTZ at Deutsche Messe, paid a dedicated visit to the U.PROTEC booth, held in-depth exchanges with the team and expressed full recognition of the company’s smart protection technologies.Among the 183 Chinese exhibitors at the show, U.PROTEC stood out as a benchmark representative of China’s PPE sector. Competing alongside multiple well-known listed Chinese enterprises, U.PROTEC fully demonstrated the strength of Chinese intelligent manufacturing.
At this exhibition, three core products featured by U.PROTEC became the focal point of the venue, earning unanimous praise from international peers and professional visitors:
Smart Protective Suit: Empowering firefighters with "super sensing capabilities." Embedded with Internet of Things (IoT) technology, the smart protective suit supports real-time positioning, vital sign monitoring (heart rate, body temperature, respiratory rate), gravity fall detection and internal garment temperature monitoring. All data is transmitted to the command center in real time via 5G network. After experiencing the technology, multiple European fire service officials noted that it can effectively reduce heatstroke risk and deliver a new layer of life safety protection for frontline firefighters.
Anti-toxic & Anti-carcinogenic Firefighting Suit: Safeguarding firefighters’ "professional lifeline." Addressing the critical pain point that firefighters face far higher cancer rates than the general workforce due to long-term exposure to carcinogens such as benzene compounds and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), U.PROTEC’s anti-toxic and anti-carcinogenic firefighting suit effectively adsorbs and blocks carcinogenic substances, significantly reducing the concentration of harmful agents in the microenvironment between the garment and the skin. The product sparked heated discussions at the Global Fire Safety Trends Forum, with multiple participating experts hailing it as a major breakthrough in firefighters’ occupational health protection.
Scenario-based Customized Solutions: All-weather, all-terrain coverage. The moisture-wicking and water-resistant firefighting suit is engineered for hot and humid summer environments, effectively reducing moisture weight gain during hose operations. The anti-icing firefighting suit, tailored for extreme cold winter conditions, delays surface icing and allows for easy ice removal. Both products drew large crowds for hands-on trials at the Smart Equipment Experience Zone, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback.
In-depth Engagement in Industry Dialogues, Presenting the "U.PROTEC Solution"
During the exhibition, the U.PROTEC team took an in-depth part in multiple high-profile industry events, including the Global Fire Safety Trends Forum and the China-German Fire Protection Technology Exchange Forum. Together with representatives from the scientific research, government, industrial and frontline practice sectors, the team explored cutting-edge topics such as smart fire protection, sustainable development and extreme scenario response."U.PROTEC’s mission goes far beyond manufacturing a single piece of protective clothing. We use technology to safeguard the lives and health of every firefighter," shared the U.PROTEC team at the forum.
Dirk Aschenbrenner, President of the German Fire Protection Association (vfdb), described INTERSCHUTZ as "a unique platform for exchange and cooperation between users, research institutions and manufacturers." On this very platform, U.PROTEC presented China’s fire safety solutions to the world.
